    Electronic Artwalk flyer also available for sharing and distributing.

    2,500 printed ArtWalk Guide/ACA brochure distributed to galleries, visitor centers and hotels.

Joining 2nd Friday ArtWalk

  • The goal of 2nd Friday ArtWalk is to promote local artists, artisans, musicians, downtown businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

  • ArtWalk gives artists, musicians, and creatives the chance to build an awareness of their work in the community, and businesses/nonprofits have the opportunity to cross-promote in creative ways.

  • ArtWalk participation is open to any downtown Coeur d’Alene business, art studio, or nonprofit organization.

  • Locations are encouraged to feature rotating art displays, host musicians, special events, ArtWalk only promotions, food/drink specials, etc.

  • We can help connect you with local artists and hire musicians when needed!

  • There are lots of ways to participate in ArtWalk!

    Art galleries feature monthly openings with music and complimentary wine or refreshment

    Retail stores host local artists, feature rotating art displays, and offer ArtWalk only sales and in-store promotions. (ex. Artist set up in the window live-sketching models and fashion at Marmalade Fresh Clothing)

    Restaurants and bars host live music and offer exclusive ArtWalk only food & drink specials or extended happy hours

    Commercial office spaces host open-house style events with pop-up art displays and rotating featured artists

    Each location on ArtWalk is responsible for organizing their own features but we are here to help by connecting you with artists, hiring musicians, and assisting when needed. Let’s get creative!

  • ArtWalk participants must plan on being open during the 5-8pm time frame on the night of the event, unless otherwise indicated by the participant.

    Locations are encouraged to feature rotating art displays, artist live demos, live music, creative collaborations, etc. or offer ArtWalk only food/drink/shopping specials to help promote the event. This will motivate people to come in your business during ArtWalk to get a stamp on their ArtWalk Passport!

    If dropping in monthly, please allow at least 3 weeks notice before each 2nd Friday ArtWalk event to be included in map & marketing materials.

    In order to get the ArtWalk Map and press & marketing materials out before the event each month, we ask that you please send your ArtWalk monthly features as far in advance as possible.

  • Email abby@artrandculturecda.org each month with your ArtWalk features 1-2 weeks ahead of the event.

    Cross promote your ArtWalk event online, share ArtWalk posts with us and other ArtWalk businesses on social media (@artsincda). This can be done before-hand and during the event. A social media graphic will be emailed to participants before the event each month.

ArtWalk Passport

  • ArtWalk goers can get their ArtWalk Passports stamped by each business they visit on the map during the event for a chance to enter our monthly raffle

  • Participating locations will be provided with a stack of printed passports each month and ArtWalk stickers to stamp passports during the event
