The Art Spirit Gallery Presents “A Not-Made-For-TV MiniSeries”

The Art Spirit Gallery Presents “A Not-Made-For-TV MiniSeries” — An Intricate, Nonlinear Exploration of Myth, Memory, and Personal Narrative

Coeur d’Alene, ID — The Art Spirit Gallery is pleased to unveil its latest exhibition, “A Not-Made-For-TV MiniSeries,”opening on Saturday, October 4th, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Curated as a nonlinear constellation of interrelated art series, this body of work is a rich tapestry of voices, reflections, and cultural memories—blurring the lines between personal myth and collective history.

Through goddess archetypes, loaded language, imagined relationships, and post-pandemic reflections, these works challenge the notion of singular narratives. Instead, they embrace fragmentation, recursion, and the polyphony of lived experience—resisting easy categorization and inviting viewers into a layered, dynamic conversation.

The Art Spirit Gallery Presents “Plein Air 2025 Invitational” — An Celebratory Exhibition of Landscape Masterpieces

Coeur d’Alene, ID — The Art Spirit Gallery is excited to unveil its latest exhibition, “Plein Air 2025 Invitational,” opening on Saturday, October 4th, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Curated by gallery manager Chelsea Cordova and featuring works by a distinguished group of regional artists, this exhibit celebrates the timeless tradition of plein air painting — capturing the beauty of nature directly from life in outdoor settings.

The “Plein Air 2025 Invitational” will be displayed in our Elevated Gallery space and showcases masterpieces created by twelve talented artists, including Laurie Carlson, Erin Cassetto, Laura Gable, Del Gish, Wes Hanson, Alex Kargopoltsev, Sally Machlis, L.R. Montgomery, Angelika Wilson-Wipp, and Gordon Wilson.

The Significance of Plein Air Art
Plein air painting—French for “in the open air”—is an enduring tradition that emphasizes direct observation of landscape, light, and atmosphere. Artists work outside, often in challenging natural conditions, to create spontaneous, vibrant works that capture the immediacy and essence of their environment. This exhibit features works that range from local scenes of the Pacific Northwest to inspiring vistas from Italy and Germany, offering viewers a glimpse into the artist’s personal outdoor experiences.
